Report a Road Problem

This system allows you to report highways problems on-line and to view the status of your own previously reported enquires.

You can report a variety of highways problems on-line such as a pothole, verge cutting, damaged signs, etc.


Highway Emergencies

If the problem you are reporting is an emergency and requires immediate or urgent attention then please telephone 01305 221020 to report it direct to our Highways Office, do not use this form.

Outside of working hours (08:30 – 17:30) including weekends and bank holidays, please contact the following number 0845 0678 999.


If you want to report a faulty streetlight then please visit the SEC website (opens in new window).


We aim to have a status report on your enquiry within three working days. This status will be updated as decisions are made regarding the enquiry.


*Please note that the only fully supported browser is Internet Explorer and while other browsers may work there is a chance you will experience problems with some of the pages, particularly the map. We are working on a replacement.
